Jewelry Care

While your jewelry piece showcases a genuine fossil with millions of years of history, please handle it with extreme care, as the teeth are incredibly delicate.
To avoid tarnish, be sure to take your jewelry off when doing exercise, taking a shower, swimming, etc. Chemicals from lotions, chlorine and salt water will all aid towards tarnishing and ultimately weakening your jewelry.

Tips

Gold-Filled Pieces:

-Be cautious after swimming, showering, bathing, or sweating.

-Clean your jewelry with warm water and mild soap, then pat it dry with a soft cloth.

-Avoid rubbing, as this can cause discoloration.

-Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place.

Gold-Plated Pieces:

-Remove before getting wet (e.g., shower, bath, beach, pool) or during physical activities and exercise.

-Store in a cool, dry place

-Remove before sleeping.

Sterling Silver Pieces:

Water won’t generally damage sterling silver. However, it can cause it to oxidize (darken) more quickly.

-Dry your pieces throughly

-Store them in a cool, dry place
